With my office’s love for peanut butter, we are often looking for recipes for yummy, easy & nutty treats.
I have been experimenting with this recipe for a while and after testing them on my friends and colleagues I think I have some yummy no-bake delights to share with you today! Seriously you have to try these!
This recipe will make 16 squares
What you will Need
400g of milk chocolate
3tbsp honey
60g of unsalted butter
100g of Rice Krispies cereal
Roughly half a jar of crunchy peanut butter
How to Make
Gently melt 200g of the chocolate in a bowl over boiling water, or carefully in the microwave so it doesn’t burn.
Add the butter and stir until it melts, take off the heat, then add the honey and stir again until all mixed.
Gradually add the Rice Krispies until it is all coated in the chocolate mixture, and pat down into a lined tin, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Take the tray out of the fridge and spread with a generous layer of peanut butter, put in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Melt the rest of the chocolate, the same as before, slightly cool then pour over the peanut butter topping and spread it to an even level, pop back in the fridge for 30 minutes or until ready to eat!
Cut into 16 pieces and then resist the urge to eat them all in one sitting. If you make this recipe I would love to be tagged use @i_heart_maggie for Instagram or @IHeart_Maggie on twitter.
