The Dovecraft alphabet stamps are super useful for papercraft projects. If you own some however you will probably know that it’s difficult to keep them in order once you have used them.
So I made these little storage boxes that will stop them falling out when they are being transported, they are also really pretty and will look great in your craft room.
What you will Need
A sheet of 8×8 paper (200gsm works best)
Ruler & Pencil
Scissors
Double-sided tape
Score board (optional)
How to Make
Follow the dimensions for the box template, if you make one master template you can re-use this over and over and it makes creating these boxes really quick. You can also make a box like the original by using the Dovecraft box as a template.
Use a score board to crease the fold lines or the back of a craft knife against a ruler also works, this will help you get a lovely straight box. Cut the box flaps as shown of the template.
Put some double-sided tape on the front two flaps, then fold the box together. You can stick the back two flaps down however this can make it difficult to get the stamps out.
Use the stamps from the box to add a label to the top of the box, this will help you locate the font you want when you need to use them.
It’s National Stationery week the 24th-30th April so this is the perfect craft! Don’t forget to tag me if you make this project, use @i_heart_maggie for Instagram or @IHeart_Maggie on twitter.
