These DIY Valentines gift containers are really easy to make and can be used to store all kinds of treats. Personalise them to include the favourite treats of your most loved people.
They would also be fab for Easter, birthdays and Christmas treats with some seasonal papers.
What you will Need
Foil food tray with lid
Decorative papers
Twine
Simply Creative Alphabet stickers
Sharpie marker
How to Make
Take the lid from the food tray, use it as a template to draw around onto your favourite papers. I used the heart paper from the First Edition Wanderlust paper pad. Stick the paper to the lid for extra strength.
Take a length of twine and lay to over the front of your lid, cross it over the back and bring it around the front again before tying into a bow.
Cut a heart out by folding a piece of card in half and cutting half a heart shape from the centre fold. Write your message on the heart and add a bit of double sided tape to the bottom right side of the heart and fix to your lid.
Add a short message to your lid and your gift box is ready. Fill it with lots of treats and pop the lid on, folding down the metal edges to seal.
My boyfriend works away in the week so these gift boxes are ideal for hiding in his bag, ready for him to find. They are super easy to make and fun to receive.
