If you haven’t heard about the huge trend in enamel pins, then where have you been? I have to admit I was a little slow to see how huge this community was but all you have to do is check out the hashtags #pingame #pinlover #pincommunity on Instagram to see how popular it is. Now my collection is growing I obviously needed a DIY to store them!
My friend Cat makes the most amazing pins, the armadillo and pinata pins are from her brand Corazon PomPom
What you will need
5×7 Photo Frame
Embroidery Board from Sostrene Grenes
Paint – Optional
Strong Glue – I used Dovecraft Ultimate Clear Glue
How to Make
I bought this white frame from Poundland, I liked the design but not how plastic it looked so I used a concrete look paint from a German company called Rayher to jazz it up.
Take your embroidery board and use the back of your photo frame stand to cut it to size, you won’t need the backboard anymore so you could use it for another cool DIY.
Add a thin line of glue around the inside of the frame and place the embroidery board inside with the smooth side facing down. Leave to dry
These would look so cool in lots of different frames on a galley wall, you could have each frame by colour or theme! Let me know if you make it, I would love to see them tag @i_heart_maggie for Instagram or @IHeart_Maggie on Twitter.
