IMG_8225

The unicorn trend looks like it is here to stay so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon to create some pretty unicorn inspired letters to decorate your favourite notebooks with quirky quotes.

What you will Need

Dovecraft Silver Mirror Card

Dovecraft Pearl Effects in a mixture of purples & pinks

Dovecraft Crystal Glitter glue

Your favourite alphabet dies

Dovecraft Ultimate Clear Glue

How to Make

Take a sheet of mirror card and add dots of pearl effects and glitter glue over the page, take a fold of card and drag the colours around until mixed.

Leave to dry and you will be left with a shiny, glittery pearlescent sheet ready for die-cutting.

Take your alphabet dies and cut out all the letters you need. A little top tip, I recently found out that cocktail sticks are the perfect option for getting your dies out and is a much cheaper option than a die release too.

On my last trip to London, I saw a notebook in Scribber with the quote ‘Ain’t nobody got time for dat!’ I absolutely loved it but rather than spend £5 on it, I thought it was the perfect quote to go with this tutorial.

Arrange the letters on your notebook before gluing them down, so you aren’t left with an unbalanced quote. I used Dovecraft ultimate glue in clear to stick down my letters so you won’t see the glue if it seeps out.

You can also use the negative space cut out from the card like I have here with the Notes pad.
