Halloween means Chocolate in our house, I tend to go for chocolate over sweets incase we are left with treats, i’m more than happy to polish them off! When I saw that my local supermarket had Terry’s Chocolate oranges for just 75p this week, I instantly saw a tasty craft. I love Chocolate orange any time of the year.
What you will Need
Terry’s Chocolate Orange
Green pipe cleaner
Green card
Black foam
Dovecraft Ultimate Glue
We R Memory Keepers Label It (Optional)
How to Make
Take a green pipe cleaner and trim to roughly 3 cms in length, you can hot glue these to your chocolate orange wrapper but I just placed my chocolate label down and pushed the pipes cleaner through the top of the wrapper.
Take a piece of green card ( I actually used my First Edition Jolly Holidays Christmas papers) and cut it to a spiky top, I did this by putting my knife into the card, on a cutting mat and moving my knife without lifting the blade, just turn your card after each point. Use a hole punch to make a hole in the middle of the card. Pop the topper over the pipe cleaner.
Take some black foam and cut some shapes for the eyes and mouth, attach them to your pumpkin with clear glue and leave to dry.
On one of my pumpkins I used my We R Memory Keeper Label It to write the word Boo and stuck it where the mouth would be.
I love how cute these little pumpkin’s look. The best part of this easy Halloween craft is you can eat them when you are finished with them! Sometimes crafting is so tough.
As always if you make them I would love to see so tag me on @i_heart_maggie for Instagram or @IHeart_Maggie on twitter. Happy Halloween!!
