It’s always cool to send a handmade card but how cool is it to receive a card that moves when you takeout out the envelope. Now thats extra cool!

This card is really easy to make, I used the new First Edition Let’s Celebrate, it’s perfect for all things celebration and has some amazing patterns inside.

What you will Need

First Edition Let’s Celebrate

White Card

Paper Trimmer, double sided tape, clear glue, 6×6 card blank.

How to Make

Take a piece of patterned card and cut to 14.5cm x 14.5cm, layer onto your card blank with double sided tape.

Take a another piece of contrasting card and cut to 13cm square, again mat and layer it onto the card blank.

IMG_7075

Cut a shape for the middle of your card roughly 10cm wide, it can be any shape you like, I used a hexagon that I cut on the Cricut maker. I also cut my hooray sentiment onto gold glitter card and stuck it to the centre of the shape.

Take two strips of paper roughly 2cm x 15cm and cross them over the top, stick it down with tape.

Keep folding the paper back on itself until you have an accordion type shape that springs when you press it down.

IMG_7077

Stick one side to the back of the hexagon and the other side to the centre of the card.

The topper will wobble when shook and look really effective, you can vary the design to suit a number of different occasions.
