Marbled Memo Board Using Glass Paint

I think I may have a thing for memo boards, and who wouldn’t they are so useful. I had an idea of using the Dovecraft glass paints for an up-cycled DIY and here it is.

How to Make

Wash and clean the glass from your frame and dry. Squeeze out a variety of glass paint colours onto the glass.

Take a cocktail stick and start moving the paint around the glass, carefully mixing the colours together but not over-mixing.

I love the marbled effect its such a shame this effect doesn’t show through the other side 100% but the effect on the other side is still really pretty.

I painted the back board of my frame white to help the glass paint colours show through clearer, you can skip this step if you like and just use the paper insert if you prefer.

Build your frame back together and write on the glass using a removable pen, use it to write down all your important notes and once finished just wipe it clean. This is a great DIY to keep by the telephone or in the kitchen for shopping lists.
