Trimcraft Bloggers Day Feb 2017

Last Saturday we held our first bloggers day at Trimcraft HQ to celebrate the launch of the newly revamped Craft Blog. It’s all change on http://www.trimcraft.co.uk with a fresh new look so make sure you take a peek.

We invited 21 crafters from all around the UK to visit for the day to network, craft and eat cake. It was a fab day and I can truly say everyone had a great time. Below are a few photos I managed to take, you can watch the live videos on the Trimcraft Facebook page and check out the hashtag #tcbloggersday on Instagram for plenty of photos.

To start the day we had tea and pastries to build our strength for a day of crafting. I then had to do my opening speech, it went well but I have learnt I do say ummm far too much (must work on that). The first craft was to decorate and up-cycle a picture frame using First Edition Deco Mache, to say everyone had the same materials there were so many different looks.

The next part of the day looked at new product launches including Christmas 2017, no photos allowed but all will be revealed soon.

Over lunch everyone had chance for a chat and to use the selfie wall, we also had a follow board where everyone could put their social details to follow each other. Loving those giant paper sequins!

In the afternoon we had some more crafting including making the origami paper flowers you might have seen on the Trimcraft You Tube channel and some DIY notebooks, a video for this is also on You Tube.

The afternoon break featured these yummy cupcakes with edible cake toppers, they didn’t last very long.
